Our Montessori Parent-Child Program is a unique learning experience for you and your child – the first and only program of its kind in Boston!
The Montessori Parent-Child classes are an opportunity for children (2 months to 3 years of age) and their parents or caregivers to learn together in a Montessori environment, one that is specially suited to the developmental needs of young children. Through observation, discussion sessions and other resources, parents have the opportunity to watch their child thrive while they themselves grow in their role as nurturing caregivers.
Parents/Caregivers attend a weekly 90-minute class with their child. The class includes a free-play time, a carefully designed lunch-style snack time, and a short “circle time.”
Children develop life-long skills, such as independence, self-control, self-confidence, and social skills. A big emphasis of our Montessori Parent-Child Program is also to help children develop healthy and mindful eating habits and skills.
We offer 5 different 8-week sessions throughout the year: Fall 1, Fall 2, Winter, Spring, and Summer. In order to familiarize parents with the structure of the program, we offer an orientation meeting prior to each session.
