“We have really enjoyed the online classes! Thayer put her foot down and told me “no more music or gymnastics online classes”. But last week, she started setting up for class when I told her it was almost time to join! I really appreciate the variety of activities, since everyday can feel like the same due to covid, I love being able to introduce something new every week.”
~ Alaska Elia
“My husband really enjoyed the class. Our son was still focused on the Montessori activity for another 30 minutes beyond class ending! I have recommended the activity to a number of friends with toddlers.”
~ Elisabeth B.
“We have loved our virtual classes with you and so appreciate the intentionality and heart you put into each session.”
~ Courtney G.
“I would also like to thank you for all the guidance you have given me from the beginning. It is always very comforting to be in your class. Your help has given me the courage and confidence I need with my son.”
~ Noor Akeel
“I appreciated all the lessons and insights you shared as they helped me engage more meaningfully with my daughter. Time is so precious and she is growing older. I want to be fully present for her development and you helped me see that potential more clearly.”
~ John Mirshekari
“Just wanted to send a note of thanks for the spring and summer session classes. We really enjoyed ourselves and as you could see, the girls had a great time too. They would eagerly wait for class on Friday and loved seeing Ariane and all the puppets. I personally learnt a lot. It does require a lot of patience but it has been very great to see them want to do everything independently and the sense of achievement and pride when they do it. They have started saying “I did it”!”
~ Shruti R.
“It’s been such a special experience attending MPCC with Corinne. I’ve learned so much from you, and the experience has truly shaped our whole family in a wonderful way. I know Corinne will miss class, but I have my fingers crossed that Calder and I will be back this spring.”
~ Cara Sipprelle
***************
Similar to in-person classes, online classes help parents bring Montessori into their homes, while nurturing young children’s independence and confidence, and providing parents with the support they need during this unprecedented time.
Classes meet on Zoom once a week for about 60 minutes so that you and your child can meet weekly with the same friends. We want to provide consistency and familiarity. That is at the heart of our program. This is important as we shift our connection online. Our goal is to provide a sense of normalcy during a time that is anything but normal.
Our interactive classes are designed with both you and your child in mind. We will share tips on how to prepare and present each activity in such a way that makes it possible for you to carry it over into your daily routine. Keep in mind, though, that children will be encouraged to explore and move in the same way they would be in class. They will interact with their friends, and you will end the session with ideas on how to extend activities to your everyday family life.
